The present residents do not want this to go ahead as the road is already congested a lot of the time with heavy volume of traffic. Extra houses will create even more traffic volume, with excessive noise, pollution etc.The area has much wildlife and protected species presently, which will be destroyed. The denisty of housing proposed exceeds even the planning division's recommendations for the area, so how can it be approved?
