It seems like every day we are hearing of more and more animal cruelty cases, ranging anywhere from starvation to the extreme such as dragging an animal to death behind a motor vehicle. These people who commit such acts are getting off with next to no consequences. They need more than a slap on the wrist, or this will never stop.
