Casey Anthony was acquitted of murdering her two-year-old daughter, Caylee.

She was, however, convicted of misdemeanor counts of providing false information to police officers. Casey admitted to not seeing her daughter for weeks, going so far as to fabricate stories - one being that her daughter was abducted by a fictitious nanny and had been too frightened to contact the authorities.

This petition is more about preventing any questionable parent from financially or otherwise profiting from the murder of their child, than it is about her verdict. To profit from such an act is immoral and reprehensible.
