The unspoiled Trailway is a destination for those of us who live in Putnam, or visit here. We come to the Trailway for exercise, and stay for a cup of coffee and a bagel.
We prize our protected, lush corridor of woodlands through which the paved pathway runs. Better signage is needed, but not a program driven by the profit-motive of an outdoor advertising company.
The Trailway is a public facility, and we believe it deserves the same level of public support that other public facilities receive. They aren’t required to sell their views to corporations in order to be maintained.
