GOP Demands $55 Million Taxpayer Dollars For 2012 Convention Security

Answer: "We are broke. We have to stop the SPENDING!"

Republicans have been telling America that we can’t afford Social Security, Medicare, or unemployment. Given the deep recession, how can they ask taxpayers to foot the bill for $55 MILLION for a week-long PARTY?

And they WANT IT NOW.

The convention is scheduled for Aug 27, 2012; over a year away.

In their own words: "We are broke. We have to STOP the SPENDING!"

Some suggestions:

GOP: GOP to pick up tab.

Democrats: Let's compromise; GOP to pay HALF.

Extreme Left: Video conference by PC or Skype it.
