Recently there have been rumors that Nintendo are set to choose between EA/Origin or Valve/Steam as their main online service for the Wii U. These are only internet rumors and speculation, but assuming this is true we really want Valve/Steam to be the main provider of their online system.

Steam is a much better platform than Origin, with a longer track record. Steam has a wide variety of games from a wide variety of developers, both indie developers and gaming industry giants. This is also reflected in the variety of the many users of Steam.
Origin on the other hand has been a disaster ever since its release. Users have experienced everything from not being able to activate or play the games they've bought, to getting personal information shared to third party vendors by EA.

Better co-operation with Valve also opens for potential Wii U-only shooters by Valve, arguably the best company for developing shooters. This would be perfect, as Nintendo doesn't really have any good Nintendo-only shooters.

So if these rumors are true, please choose Valve/Steam. We are certain that this is a much better choice!
