I see games like Mario Kart and Mario Party, which are spinoffs of the Mario franchise and contain many Mario characters. However, the selection of characters is almost the same every time, and it is picked from the same group of characters: Those who have been in a platformer or have established themselves as famous Mario characters. This leaves out many lovable characters from older games, such as Wart and Tatanga, as well as memorable characters from the RPG's, such as Fawful, Geno and Dimentio. Many of these characters have not been seen outside their debut game. Wart, for example, has not appeared in anything but remakes since Super Mario Bros. 2. Wario and Daisy made it out of the Super Mario Land series, so why can't Tatanga? Fawful was in all three Mario & Luigi games, making him the perfect representative of the Mario RPG's. Yet he hasn't made an appearance in a spinoff. Honey Queen got in to Mario Kart 7, even though her two appearances were minor and she was only seen once or twice. Support the less known Mario characters and sign my petition! Who else wants to see Geno being hit by a Spiny Shell sent by Tatanga, or Dimentio playing tennis? They are Mario characters, too!
