Puppy mills are disgusting places that dogs are forced to live in against their will. In these disgraces of humanity, dogs are forced to breed repeatedly under terrible and often fatal conditions. Dogs are cramped into tight spaces with numerous other dogs.  The dogs get little to no exercise.  Even worse they are forced to live in their own feces and receive minimal amounts of food and water. 

Puppy mill owners have the nerve to breed and sell innocent puppies to puppy stores across the country. These stores sell the puppies to unsuspecting customers who believe these puppies come from reputable breeders.  There are no reputable breeders who would sell their puppies to a place where they would live in cages or a store window.

 How can these puppy mills and puppy stores continue to exist? Do people really know the dark truth about what really happens behind closed doors of these shops? You can do something! You can sign this petition to make New York City a city that does not support these horrific situations.  Let’s make NYC a city where people stand up for the rights of animals and take a stand to end this cruelty. We want NYC residents to be educated about the truth and then spread the word to others and be a role model for other large cities.
