Brookfield Properties, owner of Liberty Plaza (Zuccotti Park) asked Mayor Bloomberg to use the New York Police to evict the OWS demonstrators in violation of their Constitutional rights. Liberty Plaza was created as a public park in exchange for the right to build a taller building at 1 Liberty Plaza. If public use of Liberty Plaza is now denied, then 1 Liberty Plaza is now in violation of building codes, and should be shut down immediately so the illegal additional floors can be safely removed.
Declare 1 Liberty Pl. building illegal park not public with eviction of OWS
