* To prevent the loss of community  and friendly competition as we are split from the other Cary schools which historically have provided traditional rivalries.

*To prevent the loss of finances from the sponsors that serve the Green Hope and Panther Creek areas which will cause a deterioration of athletic program funding.

* Some schools in the new conference do not have all  athletic programs that are currently being supported in the TRI-9 nor do some  programs  provide  JV  competition.

.*With this move from the TRI-9, there will be no guarantee of scheduling competition with those tranditional rivalries for our out of conference games.

* The  loss of  gate revenue due to lower attendence and fewer competitions.
