Impose the "death penalty" on the Penn State Football Program

The Issue

With the release of the Freeh Report, what we all suspected has been confirmed. Penn State failed to take timely, and legally required, action to protect the most vulnerable of our society, our children. Instead, the administration of Penn State was more concerned about protecting their reputation, allowing the serial pedophile predator, Jerry Sandusky, to groom and then abuse children for years. This lack of institutional control, and the culture that fostered it, must be brought under control. The best way to bring about this change is to impose the death penalty on the Penn State football program for a period of not less than four years, a period long enough to ensure that the culture which values athletics above all else no longer permeates that institution.
