1-800-PETMEDS has a history of illegal and unethical business practices. They have spent years undermining the veterinary-client relationship and the veterinary profession. The NAVC is a prestigious organization whose mission is to provide world-class eduction for the veterinary healthcare team and to enhance the profession. In the past, it has done its job very well.  However, the announced inclusion of this well-known unscrupulous company as an exhibitor and sponsor at the 2012 conference not only tarnishes the NAVC, but also demeans the presence of the other reputable exhibitors. Perhaps the director and board members can reconsider this decision and restore the faith the veterinary community has in the NAVC as an organization who supports the well-being of the profession.
