Nada was born in Lebanon. Her father was a very abusive man and only put money and time into his daughters to make them ready for marriage. Home life was not that of a loving, nurturing, safe environment for her or her sister. To compound a difficult childhood to begin with, Nada grew up in a civil war. She remembers the horror of being in check point’s and watching people be pulled right out of their vehicle and their throats cut just for being converted Christian’s and they were converted Christian’s, and she is now Catholic. She said they did this to make examples of them for going against the current leaders. Freedom of choice, religion, speech, where not freedom’s where Nada grew up, and if you expressed them, they came with heavy consequences. Though she was not the oldest she took care of her beloved sister and abusive brother and protected them with her life. Her natural and instinctive traits and abilities to nurture and protect others, even at the risk of her own life drove her beyond the call of duty even then at such a young age. It’s beyond my conception how anyone could even think she would do anything to harm this country that she loves. It goes against all that she natural and instinctively is. When she was a teen she and her sister came to America to go to college. I think we can all understand why neither of them would want to return to their father’s house who had already arranged for Nada’s marriage. Her sister arranged to get them both married so they could remain in the states as citizens, get their education and live a better life and that is what they did. While in college it was recommended that Nada apply for the FBI. She was thrilled and honored, to work for and defend this country that she loves. Now there is a key point here. From the beginning and on the first page of her application, she was honest about the arranged marriage. She was told it was not an issue in her working for the FBI. She had skills most Americans did not. She could speak Arabic and grew up in a civil war; she knew how to survive a combat zone from experience, not just training. She excelled in the FBI often volunteering on cases that were not even her own to help over come the language and cultural barriers. Nada’s co-workers called upon her often for advice and assistance on case’s they were working on over seas and speaks highly of her eagerness to help and of her kindness. It was on one of her cases over sea's that the CIA became very interested and impressed by her skills and abilities and recruited her. That is how she became a dual agent. Nada, by her years of experience in the agencies was really a young agent, yet she was working with the top guns and earned all their respect as an equal and valuable agent. Not only did they trust in her loyalty to them and this country, but knew she would do what ever was required of her to get the job done. It didn’t seem to matter if it was overcoming a language barrier, or going into a hostile area to apprehend a terrorist. She was always there for them and her country, with out fail. It was also while she was over sea's that two particular FBI agents, Not two honorable agents like Nada, but prejudice, racist, malicious, hateful, self serving, lying, cowardly agents that apparently got tired of walking in her superior shadow. They used Nada as a wrung in their dishonorable ladder to advance their immoral and unethical careers by bringing her down. They started with their lies of espionage and about her infiltrating the FBI to assist terrorist's and went on to accuse her of using computers to assist her brother-in-law who she didn't even know, she was over sea's most of the time fighting terrorism while these two cowards were hiding behind their desk taking down our patriot, no doubt driven by their own jealousy and inabilities to advance themselves and their own careers in any honorable and honest manner as Nada has... They knew better then us how critical and dangerous it would be to Nada and her family if her actual identity got out to the terrorist that she was apprehending and going up against. So they exposed her to the media. Some “want to be” journalists whose names are not worth mentioning had an absolute hay day spreading and creating the vicious lies and slandering Nada's name with no care or concern about the truth, or about the danger they were exposing her and her family too. It was all about them at the expense of Nada and her family. As the investigations and interrogations, loss of her career, loss of life as they knew it, USA’s loss of a active patriot, media scandal and mounting legal expenses continued, Nada finally took a plea bargain of guilty to an arranged marriage and unauthorized use of computers to end it all and stop the rising legal fee's and expenses that put her and her family in distress. Currently Nada does what she can and welcomes the support of those that believe in her cause to get officials to re investigate her case, see that she was unfairly prosecuted, and regain her citizenship. I personally would love to see those two individuals that advanced their careers based on lies, deceit and cowardism, investigated and prosecuted to the hilt, but if you ask Nada, she just wants justice and her citizenship back. She wishes no ill on anyone, only justice. I can’t for the life of me understand how anyone that takes the time to learn the truth about Nada can make a decision to do nothing to support her. I believe if one will take the time to learn the truth and the facts, the only decision left is how do I take action to support Nada Prouty NOW!? There are a few things we can do to support Nada.
