My brother in law is being held in a South Texas I.C.E. detention facility awaiting deportation

The Issue

I am asking for as many signatures as possible to show support in keeping my brother in law here in the United States. His name is Fredy Francisco Carrillo-Mendoza. Fredy came to the US in 1999 from Mexico.

He married my sister Debra Karnes Mendoza in 1994 and they have three beautiful daughters together, ages six, four and two. In September of 2010, Fredy was pulled over and arrested for a D.U.I. He waited in jail for eight months before being tried of this crime and was sentenced to six months time served. Four days after his court date I.C.E. picked him up and transferred Fredy to an I.C.E. holding center located in PA. On May 20, 2011, I.C.E. flew him to Pearsall, TX where he is currently waiting on a bond hearing to see weather or not he will be deported back to Mexico.

Fredy is a wonderful father, husband, person and provider to his family. His wife and children have been struggling emotionally and financially since his arrest. This will be his last chance to avoid removal/deportation from the United States.

Thank you so very much , Laurie Coleman
