People pay as much as N1,500 (one thousand, five hundred Naira) and N5000 (five thousand Naira) monthly and cannot even watch all the African movie and entertainment channels especially Africa Magic Entertainment. There shouldn't be so much fuss about making an African channel available to Africans (in this case, Nigerians). If one has paid N1,500 (about $10), N5000 ($20+), then African movies and entertainment channels should be available on the Family bouquet and Compact bouquet respectively. 

It is sad that one has to pay for Premium bouquet at N11000 ($40+) before he is given access to enjoy the full package, yet the Family and Compact subscribers make up the bulk of DSTV's Nigerian subscribers. 

DSTV does not bill her Nigerian customers as though there is any form of competition. If they recognise competition, then why the frequent price increases and less value? 

A while back DSTV so graciously opened up all the channels across all bouquets.. And all we are asking for is to have Africa Magic entertainment and more movie channels. We can understand why there is a sports bouquet but when a family pays N1,500 or N5,000 they should be able to get quality and current entertainment which is mostly available on Africa Magic Entertainment. Why must we pay N11,000 for that?!
