AshleyMadison.com, a Canadian online business owned by the parent company Avid Life Media, encourages adultery and makes money out of it, is planning to corrupt Singapore from 2014.

It claims to be the online personals & dating destination for casual encounters, married dating, discreet encounters and extramarital affairs. 

The company and its website harms marriage, promoting infidelity undermines trust and commitment between a husband and wife, which are core to marriage.  It has stirred up rapid and mass objection from the public as can be seen from massive responses in the facebook campaign page "Block Ashley Madison - Singapore" and we believe that it will cause further social disharmony and tension if allowed to prevail both online and offline operations in Singapore.

Therefore Sir, this is a petition for the Government of Singapore to ban the efforts of Avid Life Media to operate in Singapore both online and offline, by blocking all access to the website ashleymadison.com and their related sites that might evolve in the attempt to enter under a different identity, so as to safeguard the social interest of the country.
