Money is not free speach and Corporations do not have the same rights as people.
The Issue
I want to promote Rep. Deautch & Bernie Sander’s Constitutional Amendment—HJ RES 90 There is no loophole for non-profits because: Remember non-profit 501(c) can't contribute to political campaigns by law anyway. any non-profit NOT a 501(c) would fall under "other private entities established for business purposes or to promote business interests under the laws of any state, the United States, or any foreign state."
Resolved: By signing below, or on the following pages, I certify that:
1. I am a citizen of the United States of America.
2. I am 18 years old and have the right to vote.
3. I have not signed another copy of this petition (one person one signature) unless I am the one signing as collecting the signatures.
4. I fully support passage of the 112TH CONGRESS—1st Session Joint Resolution H.J. RES.90.
5. I realize that H.J. RES.90 is a proposed amendment to the Constitution for the United States by both Representative Ted Deutch in the US House of Representatives and Senator Bernie Sanders of the US Senate.
6. I realize that according to ‘Article V ‘ Of the Constitution for the United States it requires:
“The Congress, whenever two thirds of both Houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose Amendments to this Constitution, or, on the Application of the Legislatures of two thirds of the several States, shall call a Convention for proposing Amendments, which, in either Case, shall be valid to all Intents and Purposes, as Part of this Constitution, when ratified by the Legislatures of three fourths of the several States, or by Conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other Mode of Ratification may be proposed by the Congress; Provided that no Amendment which may be made prior to the Year One thousand eight hundred and eight shall in any Manner affect the first and fourth Clauses in the Ninth Section of the first Article; and that no State, without its Consent, shall be deprived of its equal Suffrage in the Senate.”
(5) Continued: So I urge all State and National Legislatures to pass H.J. RES.90.
