It is important because the reasons for going to uniforms are idiotic! Making elementary students wear uniforms will not stop bullying as they say and it will put unnecessary burdens on parents because we will now have to spend more money on clothes for our children. The uniform clothes are cheaply made and look awful. I don't want my child to be a clone, I want him to be an individual and choose what he wears each day to school. My child is not just like everyone else and uniforms give these kids no individuality. Making kids wear uniforms at such a young age is just plain brainless!  This decision was forced on us by the school board and I just want a fair vote from the parents.
