With Xbox One you can game offline for up to 24 hours on your primary console, or one hour if you are logged on to a separate console accessing your library. Offline gaming is not possible after these prescribed times until you re-establish a connection.

There is hundreds of reasons why it is bad idea!

1. If something happens with Xbox Live.
Example: Xbox live servers is down or there is some sort of connection problem, like it was months ago with Xbox Live when many customers could not log in.

2. If you lose your internet connection. Examples:
A. After big thunderstorm there can be many households without internet over week.
B. Someone breaks the ethernet cable around your house.
C. You are moving to another house. Queues are very long sometimes. 1-3 months.
E. etc...

3. If you are in the Army!

4. If you live outside the big cities!

SOLUTION:
If you use your physical disc then you are allowed play offline UNILIMITED time! If you want play offline without online check every 24h, then you need to use your physical game disc (and games what you bought over Xbox Live). If you do not want use or change your physical game discs (if you want use your game digital version) then you need to do online check every 24h! SIMPLE! Change it that way and gamers will be happy with 24h online check policy!
