Alicia Fox's' decomposed body was found in a vacant Detroit house on June 9th with two gunshot wounds to the head almost two weeks after she and her children were last seen and three days after being reported missing. Fox's husband, Erin Justice, was arrested in Atlanta June 11th and Detroit homicide investigators flew to Georgia the following morning to speak with him, the Detroit Police Chief James Craig told reporters. Authorities are still searching, for Fox's children, 6-year-old Kaylah Hunter and 8-month-old Kristian Justice. The children and their mother were last seen on or around May 24. Fox's children have different fathers. However her husband Erin Justice is the father of missing 8 month old Kristian Justice. We have been fighting hard here in Michigan to get a Amber Alert issued for these children but the response we get is that they don't fit the criteria. According to State Police, an Amber Alert is only issued when “an endangered missing person” under 17 years of age is reported to law enforcement, and one or more of the following circumstances exist: The child suffers from a severe mental or physical disability that greatly impairs the child’s ability to care for him/herself. The child is a victim of stranger or acquaintance kidnapping. (MCL 750.349) Stranger kidnapping is defined as a child being taken against his/her will by a stranger. Acquaintance kidnapping is defined as a child being taken against his/her will by an acquaintance of the child or the child’s family. The child is in the company of a person who has a confirmed criminal history of child abuse/neglect, sexual assault, domestic assault, a crime involving the victimization of children, or has made statements of intent to harm the missing child, or is suicidal. The child has been abducted by a non-custodial parent whose parental rights have been terminated. This case meets 3 or more. We need NATIONWIDE attention. We need to find these babies PLEASE HAVE THE MICHIGAN STATE POLICE ISSUE A AMBER ALERT!
