Shelby Dog Park is used extensively by the residents that fall within the east Nashville and Inglewood Council's region. The park provides a place for residents to exercise their dogs in a safe and responsible manner.

Due to the cessation of daylight savings time and the absence of lighting at the park, residents' usage of the park is extremely limited.

We, the Undersigned, call on Metropolitan Nashville City Council and Metro Board of Parks and Recreation to provide lighting to the Shelby Dog Park on a nightly basis until 8:00 PM to allow the dog park to be used more extensively and provide security to residents who utilise the dog park.
