You're invited to the Fancy Dress Fashion Event

Join us on Saturday, April 25, at the Mesa thrift store, 2352 W. Main St., Mesa, for St. Vincent de Paul's Fancy Dress Fashion Event.


The event starts at 10 a.m. and will feature formal wear for weddings, prom, black-tie events, and more. Some designer names include Gloria Vanderbilt, Saint Tropez, Oleg Cassini, Cianni Celini, Marcella Originals, Demitrios, and Victoria's.


"With hair, shoes and accessories to consider, the cost of a formal event can escalate quickly before someone buys a dress," said Cindy Garcia, Mesa thrift store manager. "We get a lot of beautiful dresses donated, and I want to showcase some of our finer items for those who are tightening their budgets."


UPDATE: Someone will win the dress of their choice for $5. We are holding a raffle on the Friday before the event, and the winner will get to pick out a dress during the event on Saturday. Raffle tickets are $5 each and available at all eight of our Valley thrift stores.
