In light of the increasing violence, vandalism, and disturbances in the South Side, we, the citizens of Allegheny County, are requesting that Mayor Luke Ravenstahl make the time to visit the South Side to discuss and address these pressing matters that are severely affecting the safety of residents and visitors alike. We ask that Mayor Ravenstahl please contact our Councilman, Bruce Kraus, and to work with him on his request to organize a town meeting with the residents in the 15203 zip code and visitors alike, so that we may express our growing concerns to the Mayor. We do this in the sincere hope that we can, together, find a way to remedy these issues.
