Complete Streets are necessary to ensure that all roadways are safe, livable, and accessible to pedestrians, cyclists, public transit users, and drivers alike. Alternative modes of transportation should be encouraged for their environmental, cultural, economic, and health-related benefits. Infrastructure in the form of sidewalks and bike lanes is needed to realize this goal.
