Twenty eight year old Jenson Bolla-Sosa, from Fort Lauderdale is being held on charges after witnesses saw him having sex with a dog. Bolla-Sosa's bail is set at $12,000. He has been charged with animal cruelty, resisting arrest and additional charges under Florida's new Anit-Bestiality law for "knowingly engage in any sexual conduct or sexual contact with an animal." He is also being held pending an immigration investigation.

Judge Hurley is quoted as saying that "abuse of an animal in certain circumstances can be just as significant and troubling" as abuse of a human.
