On Friday, January 27, 2012, Debe Bell was found guilty on 35 of 55 charges of animal cruelty. She is due back in court for sentencing on March 20, 2012 in which time we seek to petition the Honorable Justice named within to impose the maximum penalties for her crimes.

Some of you may recall that when investigators arrived ( July 11, 2011) at Six Bells Farms owned by Ms. Bell, the scene was horrific. Some of the inhumane and cruel conditions the rabbits were forced to live in were feces and urine matted fur, no food or water, and high temperatures. Investigators found the dead bodies of 20 rabbits in her freezer; the charges that were ultimately dropped against her. A total of 200 severely sick rabbits were seized from the farm.
