Domestic violence is a big issue at the moment.  But unfortunately the burden of proof is on the man.  The wife's role is to protect and care for the child.  Therefore the husband's role is to provide financial support when and however he can.

 In the above link, it was decided in court that someone looking after the children had to continue to do so, and the other partner had to provide in one way or another.  Originally the Care of Children's Act of 1994, stated the mother's role is to protect and care for the child.  Which is why financial support comes from the man, or the state.  This petition would put a stop to people making malicious statements, so that they could cut the other person off from the house and children.  It would stop lawyers making deals knowing full well the burden of proof goes to the man.

It would make sure that any split is absolutely necessary as it would cost both people, and there would be a gender neutral counselling service, instead of an action movement attacking men, to fix the world.
