While not condoning their actions, any sane person could understand them. War in it's best form is dirty and ugly. There is no way to civilize it. Stop trying. These hero's had a momentary lapse in judgment. Don't make them suffer for the rest of their live because of it. It is because of men and women like them I am able to sit at this computer and make this petition. And let's not forget what these men have witnessed happening to their comrades it they're captured. Video taped be-headings, bodies dragged through the streets and set on fire etc. Makes urinating seem kind of minor doesn't it. If these men are forced to respect and honor their enemies, then they also have to accept that they have just killed a human being. They will come to that realization soon enough in their lives, but for now, they're just doing what they needed to do to get to the next day in their tours.
