About this Petition Petition Letter

This petition is for mandating that US employers use E-Verify to verify that potential employees are legal to be employed in the United States prior to hiring the potential employee.  This action will keep unscrupulous employers from taking advantage of immigrants.  Mandating E-Verify will ensure Amercian people that US jobs are being filled by people that are legally eligible to be employed in this country.  Mandating E-Verify will also help identify cases of identity theft and fraud in employment and tax evasion.

Please mandate E-Verify for all employers within the United States.  Implementing E-Verify will help stop unscupulous employers from abusing immigrants.  In addition E-Verify will help build trust of then American people that Congress really is trying to help give jobs to those legally eligible for employment in the United States.
