THERE IS ANOTHER SIDE TO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE It is estimated that there are over 185,000 men that have been victims of domestic violence. Yet the police and the court system are not taking this seriously into account. Women are just as likely as men to physically attack their spouses or partners. Judges grant restraining orders without asking too many questions to the accuser. Restraining orders and orders to vacate are granted to virtually all who apply Thus opening up the doors to accusers making false claims of violence. When a woman comes at a man with a knife and he pushes her to avoid injury that is self defense until the woman files a complaint that he pushed her then it becomes domestic violence and the accuser has very little say but to be abused once again by our judicial system. The court systems should PROSECUTE THOSE THAT FILE FALSE ALLEGATIONS OF DOMESTIC ABUSE. Equality in the judicial system is a MUST! Women cannot be the only ones protected against violence. LET"S FIGHT TO STOP THIS PREDJUDICE IN THE COURT SYSTEM
