A group of animal activists known as Fur-Free WeHo is proposing a ban on all fur sales in West Hollywood, California. 

West Hollywood is a progressive city, with a strong commitment to animal welfare. The city was the first in the nation to ban the declawing of cats. They've banned puppy mills, prohibited cosmetic testing on animals, and banned steel-jaw traps. In the compassionate city, domestic animals are known as "companion animals," not "pets." 

The group has already received support from city council candidate John D'Amico, and believes they will receive support from the rest of West Hollywood's city council. 

Ask West Hollywood to make history on behalf of animals, and become the first city in the nation to ban fur.
