The 600 Block's Block Party event on Saturday, May 8th was a huge success.  It was Pro-Business, Pro-Family, and Pro-Culture.  The City of St. Petersburg should co-sponsor, host, or otherwise support this event on a quarterly basis to serve those citizens who want to congregate and re-inforce their community ties, but whose interests aren't necessarily served by First Friday's emphasis on TGIF style partying.
