Glee is well-known for having gay characters, although it's a little controversial for its handling of some issues. However, Fox network forced changes on the show that demonstrate open homophobia and bigotry against the GLBT community.

During the Rocky Horror episode, they forced the show to place a female character in the part of Frank, thereby completely undermining the bisexual nature of the character and showing homophobia. They also forced the removal of the word 'transsexual', which is a clear attack on any transsexual viewers.

We need to let them know that this is not acceptable. This will not be tolerated. And to do that, we need to let them know people are offended. As well as signing this petition, I urge everyone to contact Fox at askfox@fox.com and let them know you won't be supporting their bigotry and won't be watching their network. Boycott products advertised on Fox, and contact the manufacturers and let them know that you are not buying, and why.

It's 2010. It's time for networks to wake up.
