Make Andhra Pradesh an Energy Efficient State.  The Andhra Pradesh Assembly building in Hyderabad is the heart and soul of the city and a power house where the state’s laws and legislation are made. It is also a popular destination for tourists. But the building consumes a lot of resources and is not a green and sustainable building.

A green building is one which uses less water, optimises energy efficiency, conserves natural resources, generates less waste and provides healthier spaces for occupants, as compared to a conventional building.  

The AP Assembly can also be made into a green building by :  

1. Optimise water usage and make it net water zero

2. Make it energy efficient and use renewable energy

3. Reduce waste & implement zero waste management  

If the assembly building is made into a green & sustainable building it will set a positive example It would lead to many other building be converted into green buildings.
