For Mother's Day, my son brought me a dog. Someone had dumped him out on a deserted roadway in the phosphate area of our county. The dog was so pitiful, my heart went out to him. I said he could stay, all his ribs could be seen through his skin, he was full of worms,  his eyes had a hazy mist over his pupils, at first I thought he was blind. The SPCA was within 15 miles from where the dog was dumped, so why would a person not do the humane thing. Please sign this petition to stop the abandonment of animals along the roadway. People of this nature should be charged with this type of behavior. What do you think?
