When Anne was to be "re-homed" from the Bobby Roberts Circus..There were plenty of places willing to take her..Places like TES or PAWS just to name a few..These places are equipped with pools, plenty of room to roam, elephant companions and best of all they are bullhook free..Longleat was only supposed to be a temporary home until she was fit to travel..Then it was decided that Anne would stay at Longleat and they would provide her new home..They promised a sanctuary type setting with water and other elephants..Money was raised to help achieve this goal, people gave and gave generously as they wanted what's best for Anne..Now it has been decided that maybe she shouldn't be around other elephants and maybe she could "slip" in her pool..These are excuses we are being fed over and over.It's time for Longleat to do as they have promised ..If they are not prepared to do so ,then they need to send her somewhere that is prepared to give her the quality of life she deserves
