A young boys life was tragically lost, but it quite possibly could have been saved, had there been adequate lighting and sidewalks available for not only Kirt Smith, but ALL pedestrians and bicyclists in the Seminole Woods area of Palm Coast, FL.

The tax paying citizens of Palm Coast, FL MUST contact their elected  officials, starting with Mayor Jon Netts, and DEMAND that street lights and sidewalks be put in place, so that no other life is lost so needlessly. The residents of Palm Coast pay taxes to support their city, and should have their voices heard in the decision making process on where to allocate funds. 

All Palm Coast residents deserve to be provided safe travelways when walking/bicycling in ALL of the busiest parts of the city.  Perspective visitors to the Palm Coast area, also need to know that the streets are as safe as possible.

Safety BEFORE beautification.  Safety BEFORE recreation.  Safety BEFORE defunct multi-million dollar projects.  Safety BEFORE another innocent life is lost to the poor budgeting allocations made in Palm Coast!
