Starting 2012-2013 School Year, the Liberty county school board has changed their policy for parents walking their children to class. We aren't allowed! They also now require us to give the school 24 hour notice prior to observing our child's class. Once it is approved by the principal, someone will escort you to the class and sit in there with you. Then, after 20 minutes you are required to leave and may not observe the class again until the next semester. If you feel that you should not be "locked out" of the school your child attends, or feel that this gives the school and teachers too much power, please sign below. We need to send a message letting them know how the parents feel. I will be presenting this petition to the Liberty County School Board on August 14th so PLEASE sign as soon as possible.
