Let's Honor the Peacemakers
The Issue
I would like everyone to suggest the names of peacemakers who should be honored and ways to honor them. I would like everyone to think of ways that we can advocate for peace in our daily lives and around the world by peaceful means until the culture of peace and finding peaceful solutions to disputes replaces the current culture of war.

I like John Lennon's "Imagine," but though I'm not religious, I'm not anti-religious. I believe in celebrating diversity and us becoming one world where all are part of building toward a world of plenty for all and to be eventually exploring the stars. However, this plenty does not mean excess, as we as individuals have to learn the difference between what we need and is good for us and sustainable for the planet and the excessive, supersizing greed that the mega corporations have conditioned many of us to believe is the "good life."
So many worthy causes. It's hard to decide where to start...
