Our poor and elderly should not be cut off from the world just because they can't pay the current extremely high cost of TV service. One should not have to pay to be informed of emergencies and current issues affecting their health and wellbeing. Advertising and our product choices pay for the cost to supply TV all by itself. Anything over that is simply lining the pockets of the rich. Basic programming should be free to everyone. As you read this old people and shut ins are having their only link to society cut off by money hungry TV providers. Our less fortunate remain uneducate and vote uneducated. What used to be a free service available to everyone has now been taken away and the frequencies allocated to government use. Lets fix it again with free basic TV service for everyone.
