Lets Make 'EVERY' Animal Abuse Case a Felony in New York State!
The Issue
WE NEED CHANGES NOW! WHEN WILL IT BE A 'BETTER' PLACE FOR OUR PETS/ANIMALS? Animal abuse cases are on the rise; we need help to make it an 'automatic' Felony in New York State. This is a simple petition requesting your signature so we can be heard! PLEASE HELP by signing the Petition to make Animal Abuse a FELONY in NEW YORK STATE. Oliver, a beautiful Great Dane was rescued by Police & SPCA on March 20th, he has extensive multiple injuries. Oliver was brutally beaten by his owner and needs our help. When investigators arrived at the scene, they found the dog with multiple lacerations to the face, mouth and eyes. The animal, which was covered in blood, also suffered from broken bones and has several teeth missing. Investigators believe the man may have even duct-taped the animals mouth shut. If you have not seen the news clips/videos, please take a look at them so you can better see the 'urgency' in why we need attention to this continuous horrific problem. Go to: www.countyspca.org PLEASE HELP OLIVER! by adding your name on this petition, it can make a difference! Also a 2nd case [within a 24 hour period of time- same city] involved a cat Named Bud. Bud was found in a Schenectady home abandoned by his owner, barely alive, struggling to walk, severely dehydrated starved almost to his death. When he was rescued, Police and SPCA found 2 dead cats at the same residence. It was too late for them but, Bud 'miraculously' survived and needs our help. We need signatures on this petition so we can urge our Governor to help make Animal Abuse a Felony in New York State! WON'T YOU PLEASE HELP BY SUPPORTING OUR PETITION TO MAKE ANIMAL ABUSE A N.Y.S. FELONY! We can do this if we all put our hearts in it & our hands together. OLIVER CANNOT SPEAK FOR HIMSELF AND HE DEPENDS ON US TO SHOW HIM THAT WE CARE! Oliver, Bud and so many others deserve a better life! Please sign and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
