if this were legal gang activity would die down.we could pay off the national debt.it does not make a person violent .it chills them out.if this is a stepping stone then people could make rational choices about it and the use of it would decline.if its illegal and you try it ,then you have already broken the law.so why not try harder and harder drugs.but if it were legal ,you might think twice before breaking a law.too many people are in trouble or jail and seek the wrong type of people to get this stuff .take the criminal element out of it.make people get a presription ect and mayby even a licence.there is alot of ways to make money for the government.it can be totally american.also just a foot note if opium were legal there would be no income for terrorist in afganistan,points to ponder.
