About this Petition Pledge

I have found that the best way to learn about one's own spirituality is to learn about others. I highly recommend that everyone visit a different place of worship or participate in a new holiday celebration or ritual. Read about other religions and talk to people who worship differently than you- talk, don't debate.
 In my life I have been to several different denominations of christian churches [including the catholic ones I was raised in], a mosque,  Ba'hai meetings [and a wedding!], Krishna gatherings and communities, an interesting evening with Tibetan monks, pagan celebrations, Hannukah celebrations, as well as taking a course on World Religions and reading as much as I can about others. I know I still have a lot to learn about my own spirituality, but I certainly think I have only gained from these experiences.
