Lauren's Law

The Issue

All persons of interest have come forward, however with little detail, stating some kind of information from the night Lauren Spierer disappeared; Whether that information being the POI had amnesia, or where they last saw Lauren Spierer.. We want those POIs to take police-administered polygraph tests to CONFIRM what they've already said to police. This petition was only created to find Lauren Spierer, we're not worried about having someone prosecuted quite yet. Finding a missing person is far more important right now, we'll get to that step later!

“We want POIs to take a polygraph and confirm the information they had already given to police. They’re not saying nothing they hadn’t already said,” Faith said. “If they’re innocent, then they shouldn’t have anything to worry about.” - Indiana Daily Student.

Lauren Spierer whom is originally from New York vanished from her college town (Bloomington, Indiana) on June 3rd, 2011 in the early morning hours after a night out with friends.

Description of Lauren Spierer:
- 4'11
- 95 lbs
- Blonde hair
- Blue eyes

She was last seen wearing black pants, and a white tank top with a white top. (image showing what she was wearing the night she disappeared

Since Lauren's disappearance, thousands of tips have poured in, yet few new details have emerged in the case because four of the persons of interest who were last with Lauren that night refuse to come forward with information. Instead, they remain silent, and there is not much else the police can do to advance the case." We believe that by requiring all Persons of Interest (POIs) take a police administered polygraph test will help important details emerge sooner in the investigation, therefore reducing the number of investigators and cutting down on time exerted in solving cases. If the persons of interest are eliminated, investigators are able to better focus their efforts and consider other options more aggressively. Your signature represents hope, and by signing this petition, you are telling legislators that it's time to listen to the pleas of the families of those who have vanished and to put more consideration on the nightmare they face every day as they wait anxiously for answers.

Thank you for your time!

Jalen FaithPetition StarterMy name is Jalen Faith, thanks for visiting my profile. I'm a 17 year old student from Indiana, currently attending Indiana Connections Academy (an online public high school). I joined change.org with hopes of making change in the world, and to support other petitions. I'm the creator of the Lauren's Law petition which has reached media attention from the Bloomington Herald Times, WTHR in Indianapolis, and the Indiana Daily Student (which is Indiana University's newspaper). Although the petition has been deemed unconstitutional I feel that we should continue to try, and push this petition. It's VERY important when it comes to saving lives. Do you have questions? Feel free to inbox me! I'm also available 24/7 via email jalenfaith@gmail.com. I prefer media requests be made to jalenfaith@gmail.com. Thanks!
