The House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at the meeting held on 28 October 2013th, supported an absurd proposal to amend the Law for the Protection and Welfare of Animals, thanks to the votes of the SDP, SDA, and part of the SNSD, and thanks to the one who proposed this amendment – the representative of SDP Nermina Zaimović Uzunović, thus becoming an accomplice in a cheap political deception of the public in which they try to save incompetent mayors from their own responsibilities under the guise of concern for the safety of citizens.

Amendments to the Act have been adopted in the first reading, and next to follow is the constitutional amendment phase in Legal Commission, and after that the second reading in the House of Representatives, which is expected in the mid November. One Act is deemed to be adopted only if it is adopted in both reading of the same text by the House of Representatives and House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly.
