Save Beach Football and Frisbee!

Save Beach Football and Frisbee! (STOP the Nanny-State)

Repeal “Ball-Playing Restrictions” Ordinance for LA County Beaches

It’s time for residents of LA County to say, “Enough is Enough”, and
stop the unnecessary and intrusive government take-over of our lives.

The LA County Board of Supervisors has recently amended Title 17 –
Parks, Beaches, and Other Public Areas, Paragraph 17.12.430
“Ball-Playing Restrictions” to prohibit “any person to cast, toss,
throw kick or roll any ball, tube, or light object other than a beach
ball or volleyball upon or over any beach” between Memorial Day and
Labor Day.

Tell the LA County Board of Supervisors to STOP the enforcement of
this ordinance! There is no good reason why recreational activities
such as football and Frisbee should be prohibited at LA County
Beaches! Say NO to the Nanny-State!!!

The great Benjamin Franklin said it best, “"They who can give up
essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither
liberty nor safety."

Is giving up a large freedom of common entertainment worth a small
increase in safety?
