Revoke lifetime hunting permits and privileges , maximum fines and penalties for all involved in the Boyle County Raccoon Massacre.

The Issue

Nature deserves respect. When humans disrespect nature, we disrespect ourselves.  A raccoon was purposely released in an enclosed area with three hunting dogs at the Boyle Cointy fair as spectators witnessed the cruel ripping apart of the innocent animal.  Not only, did these perpetraitors voilates Ky Statute 525.125, they jeopardized the wellbeing of the citizens.  The staute reads:      (1) The following persons are guilty of cruelty to animals in the first degree whenever a four-legged animal is caused to fight for pleasure or profit:   (a) The owner of the animal;   (b) The owner of the property on which the fight is conducted if the owner knows of the fight;   (c) Anyone who participates in the organization of the fight. This is a class D felony.    Please sign this petition, in hopes that the humans responsible for this inhumane treatment are held accountable and that this will not be allow to happen again.  Peace and namaste.
