The Redevelopment Agency is asking the City Council to accept responsibility to complete projects if redevelopment is taken away by the State; therefore obligating the City to do these future projects.  It’s called a Cooperation Agreement and goes to the City Council on Monday, February 28th, 2011 at a Special Meeting at 9 AM. 

Also on the agenda as separate items are North Embarcadero Visionary Plan, East Village Green, and the Interim Leash Free Dog Park.  A strong presence will be necessary to lend perspective and counter all those who will be testifying in opposition to any more dollars being spent in Downtown. The future really is at stake, especially for the separate items.  Now is the time to find a way to take a day to ensure Downtowns future.
