The Issue
The FDA has continuously failed to safeguard our food supply and protect the American people from food additives and ingredients that are dangerous to our health. Further, any governmental agency designed to control and protect the food supply in our country, must be separate and apart from the governmental agency controlling the pharmaceutical industry in order to avoid an ostensible conflict of interest. As such, the FDA has failed to fulfill its intended purpose and must be replaced.
