Be it known, this petition is for the purpose of offsetting the cost of the cap & gown required to walk for graduation.  Many proprietary educational facilities offer one or both of the following cost options for students through their gown supplier:

     1. The total cost of the Cap & Gown (including applicable taxes and fees) are

         wrapped into the total tuition cost (associated with school supplies such as

         books and backpacks).

     2. A rental option should be made available, which would include service fee

        (per set) as well as dry cleaning cost.  Should the gown not be returned by a

        specified time following the graduation, the total cost of a new set purchase

        would be applied to the student.
